Think of the colour White and you instantly think of:
- New beginnings
White is predominantly a positive colour and represents successful beginnings. Just like marriage is a beginning.
Our eyes see white as a brilliant bright colour, however, it can also cause headaches due to the brightness and in extreme cases can be blinding, (but that is extreme).
In western countries the colour white is traditionally worn by brides to signify the purity, innocence and virginity of the bride.
In eastern countries the colour symbolises funerals and mourning.
There are different shades and tints of white and just some of them are referred to as:
- Antique white
- Milk White
- Ghost white
- Old lace
